A lighting product, inspired by Etienne-Jules Marey's chronophotographic imagery and studies of movement and light. Famous for his studies of movement through space his research contributed to the emerging field of cinematography at the end of the 19th century. His later work focussed on the movement of abstract forms, with his last great work a photographic study of smoke trails.

N180 is fabricated from hand-finished aluminium extrusions with a bespoke hinge mechanism and standard T5 fluorescent tubes. Alternative products are available in polished stainless steel and solid brass. The product was developed in collaboration with Mike Stoane Lighting.
